View company name and apply directly at: http://bit.ly/rlnlj6 Job Description: An attractive candidate must have (i) a desire to join an entrepreneurial firm, (ii) an ability and inclination to source transactions (iii) the maturity to partner with senior industry operating executives. The ideal candidate will have the following responsibilities: 1. Identify and evaluate potential target companies for investment and present and position opportunities to an investment committee 2. Partner in the leadership and the execution of new transactions (valuation, price negotiation, due diligence, management of external advisors, and closing) 3. Monitor investment performance and support management teams of portfolio companies to maximize operating and financial performance 4. Oversee and facilitate timely and concise reports on transaction progress and portfolio companies’ monthly and quarterly performance results 5. Assist in the training and development of additional team members e.g. Associates and Analysts QUALIFICATIONS 1. A minimum of 7 years experience in finance or consulting, with a minimum of 3 of those years in private equity investments or M&A. 2. Demonstrated leadership of transactions from the sourcing stage of a transaction through execution. Track record of exited investments a plus 3. Thorough understanding of valuation methods including the building of sophisticated financial models 4. Significant experience managing deal processes 5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills 6. Highly entrepreneurial, passion for knowledge, drive for excellence, business savvy, creative, high integrity, flexible, professional maturity 7. Proven track record of leadership skills, and a strong desire to work closely with entrepreneurs 8. Bachelor’s degree and strong GPA from a leading college or university 9. An MBA from a top business school would be a plus"
