View company name and apply directly at: http://bit.ly/redzKg Job Description: -Daily/weekly/monthly Net Asset Value preparation -Financial Statement preparation (quarterly and annual) -Cash and position reconciliations are performed -Income and Expense accruals -Partner/Shareholder Allocation calculations -Proper performance reporting inline with GIPS standards -Other Ad Hoc Stakeholder reporting -Monitoring of security valuations in accordance with firm’s valuation policy -Create procedures and associated work flows -Participate in due diligence reviews and all associated projects -Participate in any software implementation pertaining to group Qualifications -5 to 7 years of experience with a combination of Public Accounting and Industry (i.e. Fund accounting experience - Hedge Fund, PE, Registered Investment advisor, or Fund Administrator) -CPA preferable, or individual is a CPA candidate -Independently prepare GAAP Financial Statements -Performance reporting experience utilizing industry standards (performance measurement reporting complying with GIPS) -Knowledge of fixed income securities and the valuation assumptions used for a variety of these security types. -Experience using portfolio management/accounting systems (i.e. Advent Geneva, Wall Street Office), and Bloomberg -Good communication skills (written and oral) -Detailed oriented -Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics a must"
