The Tax Manager would be responsible for the preparation and submission of the Federal Form 990s, the preparation and submission of the monthly IL Sales & Use Tax form, risk management, and cash management. This is a very hands-on role. The ideal candidate would have a BS in Accounting/Finance, MST a plus; CPA required; non-profit industry experience preferred; 6+ years of general accounting experience; previous experience with Form 990s and sales & use tax required, knowledge of VATs, unclaimed property tax, and charitable filings is a plus; the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize work, and meet deadlines under pressure; the ability to learn quickly and be adaptable/flexible; strong MS Office skills; and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
