The ideal candidate will have extensive Banking and Leadership experience and the following skills: JOB PURPOSE • To manage all Architecture elements of the bank - including E-Channels, all elements of CARD’S ( All Internet Banking / Mobile Banking, Infrastructure, Application Support, Development and Project Delivery) • To support the business objectives and growth by ensuring alignment of technology in providing cost effective, scalable and robust solutions. Skills SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES • 10 - 15+ years of work experience having performed senior roles in technology within the banking industry. • Experience of having managed large and complex system implementation programs, with end to end accountability. • Leadership skills - Extensive experience of leading and managing multiple teams • SOA Architecture • Integration Architecture • IT Business Management • Middleware • Project & Product Solutioning • JAVA, J2ee, C++ • Internet & E-Channel Management (Architecture) • E-Business (IBM Websphere Message Broker) • Websphere portal solution development • Security design • Solution & Enterprise Architecture • Design & Architectural direction to the team • Strong technology background with exposure to the Application / Infrastructure elements and/or Information systems knowledge (Development & Project Delivery). Extensive experience within retail banking and relevant domain knowledge. • Educational Qualifications - Relevant university degree and qualifications • Strong vendor management skills and relevant experience. • Strong communication skills and Stakeholder Management • Understanding of Information Security and the risk management & quality elements of technology • Experience in formulating and implementing technology strategy would be an advantage"
