"Title: Messaging Systems Engineer Industry: Financial Working Location: New York City, NY Contract Duration: 3 Months Rate - $50/hr Local consultants only In and around NY, NJ, PA Responsibilities: § Responsible for the administration and support of the global messaging services, based on Exchange 2003/2007 and Enterprise Vault. § Maintaining and supporting Exchange 2003/2007 and Windows 2003/2008 systems. § Troubleshooting and resolving Exchange 2003/2007 problems. § Working with the Messaging teams to manage and support messaging services for the global email environment. § Maintaining Directory Services, Outlook Web Access, routing and transports. § Assisting in the management and support of Exchange 2003/2007 servers and connectors. § Maintaining and supporting third party applications including E-Vault, Blackberry wireless and RightFax. § Troubleshooting and resolving Tier II and Tier III e-mail related issues following established protocol and procedures via the service desk. Required Skills § Minimum four years Microsoft Exchange E-mail experience. § Strong Messaging experience with expert knowledge of Exchange 2003/2007. § Hands on experience setting up and configuring Exchange 2003/2007 systems. § Expert knowledge in troubleshooting Exchange 2003/2007. § Knowledge of archiving and journaling services, specifically Enterprise Vault. § Experience in Enterprise wide deployment of messaging and archiving services backbone. § Clear understanding of messaging standards and protocols including MAPI, IMAP, POP3, Networking, TCP/IP, DNS, WINS. § Broad and thorough knowledge of Windows Active Directory. § Experience with wireless email, including Blackberry and ActiveSync."
