Global retailer located in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago "Leading fashion retailer is is need of a polished, professional & energetic accessory buyer with a creative edge, the ability to drive business & has experience working with high SKU counts. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Plan sales and stock according to season • Analyze business weekly • Maintain in-stock position on all items • Develop assortment plans • Analyze trends and translate them into new styles • Maintain knowledge of current market trends and ideas • Negotiate with vendors, both domestic and international, for price and delivery • Competitive industry shops • Supervise, train and develop Associate and Assistant Buyer(s).
