The consultant would perform SOX audits to identify business risks, recommend controls, and design and perform audit procedures to test the effectiveness of established controls. The ideal candidate would have a BS in Accounting or Finance; CPA/CIA required; previous financial services specifically mortgage banking experience; previous consulting experience a plus; prior audit and risk management experience; be very hands-on with experience documenting processes, writing test scripts, and identifying and remediating control deficiencies; strong attention to detail and problem-solving and analytical skills; strong communication and interpersonal skills; and comfortable working with all levels of corporate infrastructure.
