".NET Developer opportunity in Rolling Meadows: • The work will primarily be enhancements to the existing application, and some new development. • Developer should have experience of SQL Server 2000 & 2005 from a development perspective. • Developer should have a general understanding of consuming web services. SOAP web services are in scope, for example the processing of credit cards is done via a web service. Candidates with limited to no experience in web services will still be considered. • .NET 2.0 or greater • Current environment consists of both SQL Server 2000 and 2005 databases. • Experience with PHP and MySQL Development Technologies is a plus. Required Experience: • 3-5 years of demonstrated Microsoft .NET development in C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, etc. • Development experience with ASP .NET 2.0 newer versions 3.0 a plus. • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2000, and 2005 databases. • Proficient in object oriented programming (OOP), design patterns, UML diagramming. • Familiar with software development life cycles including RUP, Agile, and XP.
