FoxPro to SQL Server Conversion Specialist - Orlando, FL "Apply today; contact me at 954-607-1551 or mila.s@vitaver.com Start Date: ASAP Type: Contract, part-time (can be done on the weekend or after-hours) Remote or Onsite: 3 days on location at the Client’s site, and then can be done remotely Est. duration of the 1st stage: 1 week with possible additional hours Description: A provider of technology solutions with expertise in document imaging and business information management is looking for FoxPro to SQL Server conversions specialist Responsibilities: • Convert reference FoxPro database into SQL Server as the backend; • Mentor company internal team on the process of conversion (the team is familiar with SQL Server, but unfamiliar with FoxPro. The end customer is familiar with FoxPro, but unfamiliar with SQL Server). Requirements: • Experience with migrating Visual Fox Pro 7.0 Service Pack 1 to SQL Server 2008 (or similar); • Ability to mentor company internal team during the conversion with the expectation that the team would do the remaining conversions; • Availability to support and consult company internal team periodically after the conversion period."
