Assume ownership and responsibility for all quality systems for the region. Serve as functional lead for Quality Business Owners at regional manufacturing sites. Establish performance goals and job assignments. Document, counsel and take corrective action as appropriate to enforce company rules, policies and procedures. Train and develop managers towards career enhancement Act as primary point of contact for escalation of regional quality issues, as well as primary customer contact for manufacturing-related quality issues. Proactively drive/resolve issues related to manufacturing quality, supplier quality, and product quality. Define standards for quality activities, to include but not limited to: testing, product inspection, problem solving, and handling customer complaints. Develop quality metrics and manage regional performance towards global targets. Manage the overall Quality certification program and maximize regional synergies.
