This position requires that the individual work within the virtualization, storage and server teams as well as independently in a high-end consultative approach. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Must have experience with HP Blades, DL Server, VMware vSphere 4/5, Cisco Nexus switches, EMC VNX, Avamar, RecoverPoint - Participate in detailed storage/ virtualization and server architectural conversations with employees and customers. - Provide in depth working knowledge virtualization/ storage technologies. - Design high grade accounting for key datacenter technologies including networking, compute, backup/DR, and virtualization. - Properly assess a client’s environment, including formal documentation of findings to be presented to the customer. - Provide knowledge transfer workshops around key technologies to clients - Assist in the delivery of EMC/ VMWare/ HP/ Blade based solutions. - Provide strong working knowledge of virtualization as it relates to storage to both internal and external customers. - Contribute and refine the team’s consulting process, including documentation of how an engagement is delivered."
