Email resume to Rschumacker@roseint.com "Mobile Product Development Engineer in Waltham, MA 6-12 month W2, no 3rd Party Local Only The candidate filling this position will join the product development and integration group. The work involves converting business requirements into achievable architectural and application design/requirements and overseeing the implementation of mobile applications build over  3G and 4G network. He/she will work the latest pre-production devices on different platforms (Android, RIM, WP7 and any new things) and drive the evolution of new devices and platform changes with device OEMs and platform providers. He/she will participate vendor evaluation and vendor management.  Required: • Must have BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related discipline. • Must have at least 2+ years of overall experience on various mobile platforms such as Android, J2ME , Windows Mobile, Blackberry platforms. Android development experience is preferred. • Strong understanding of computer science concepts such as data structures, OOPS, multithreading and synchronization and understanding of the JAVA language and Android platform are required. • Working knowledge of XML, database principles, HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP • Must be independent and self-motivated, with a knack for taking the initiative, overcoming obstacles and providing technical leadership. • Must be ability to work effectively with others across the organization. • Must be able to quickly master and apply new technologies, and stay abreast of industry trends. • Must have strong analytical and communication skills (written and oral).  Desired: • Knowledge with 3G (GSM/CDMA) and LTE network • MS of Computer science or related engineering Master’s degree. • Technical knowledge of Internet-based service delivery systems and architectures (e.g., Web 2.0, SIP, XMPP, HTML5, etc) is highly desired. • Prior Experience with IMS, SIP and building RCS clients is preferred. • Technical knowledge of wireless IP-based communications system architectures, protocols, and standards (e.g., 3GPP IMS, SIP/SIMPLE, mobile device/handset design, etc.) http://bull.hn/l/FD1K/1"
