This is a newly created position developed to ensure orderly growth in a new highly regulated environment. The position will report into the Deputy General Counsel who concurrently serves as the Chief Compliance Officer. The department is responsible for all legal activities of the Firm and the compliance activities of two registered investment advisers and one publicly traded business development company. He/she will be involved with the following: * Implementing the Firm’s comprehensive compliance initiative, including a calendar of regular testing and auditing of key functional areas of the Firm * Acting as point person on various securities filings * Drafting, reviewing and commenting on legal documents and contracts * Reviewing the Firm’s investor relations materials and developing presentations that comply with applicable laws and regulations * Developing automated processes and procedures to standardize routine compliance tasks * Supervising paralegal tasks * Other duties as assigned Core Requirements: * Bachelors and JD degrees from top institutions To apply please submit your resume to Info@compliancesearch.com"
