Our client is a publicly traded, growth company that produces high-tech diagnostic devices used in hospitals and health care facilities worldwide. The successful candidate will assume responsibility for the overall system architecture and prototype development of a very complex, multi-component, in-vitro, diagnostic device. He/she plans, designs, analyzes, develops, tests, and documents mechanical, fluidic and electromechanical components and systems for use in in-vitro diagnostic instruments. Leads design reviews for area of responsibility. Communicates and negotiates design trade-offs with other engineers and/or members of the Product Delivery Team. This position requires a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering plus a minimum of seven ears of experience. Experience with proof of concept and prototype development required . Advanced degree is a plus. Compensation is $120k-140k. This position is open to U.S. citizens or permanent residents who are authorized to work in the U.S. and do not need sponsorship by an employer."
