"Severstal North America, a major Dearborn-based steel producer in the United States and a wholly-owned subsidiary of OAO Severstal, one of the world’s largest vertically integrated steel and mining companies, is seeking an Automotive Body Structures CAE Analyst. The Company has been in the steel manufacturing business for more than seventy years and produces a variety of high quality, flat-rolled carbon steel products, including hot rolled, cold rolled and electro-galvanized steel. Severstal is a major supplier to the automotive industry and became the first integrated Steel Company in the world to achieve QS-9000 certification. Due to our ongoing commitment to quality and our expanded capacity, Severstal has the following challenging and exciting opportunity for an Automotive Body Structures CAE Analyst. Position Requirements: • Minimum bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering • Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in body structure design • BIW and Closures Experience • Experience in crash, durability and/or NVH simulations • Fluent in NASTRAN, Abaqus, Hypermesh, LS-DYNA • Familiar with optimization • Have good communication skills • Self Starter and work with little direction Nice to have: • OEM Experience • N-Code or fatigue experience • Hyperworks • Optistruct • Genesis • Fluid dynamics experience • Metallurgy experience • Networking experience • Stamping experience To be considered for this position, please apply at the site below: http://alturl.com/zcx97 Severstal is an Equal Opportunity Employer"
