Mehboob Meherali posted a job: Role: - Oracle PL/SQL Developer with DBA(Reference # May 22/07) Location: - New Haven, CT Duration: - 12+ Months "Requirement: • Demonstrated the ability to provide technical support in developing and maintaining database applications. • Assist with administrative maintenance of relational databases including backup / recovery, schedule jobs, problem diagnosis and performance tuning. • Implement data models and database designs. Assist in there solution of database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues. • Assist with ad-hoc reports if needed. • Create scripts and DTS packages for data integration, data maintenance or bug fixes. Write PL/SQL statement and stored procedure to integrate with application calls. • Analyze, define and document system requirements for data, workflow, • Logical processes, interfaces with other systems, auditing, reporting requirements and COTS configurations. • Create test plans, test data sets and automated testing to ensure all components of the system meet specifications. Experience / Skill: • Minimum 2+years fulltime DBA experience • PL/ SQL, Stored Procedure • Data Model/ Analysis • Java (J Developer, J2EE, Apache) and Oracle Application Server • Operating System skills for Solaris and /or Linux • TCP/IP • Networking concepts • Firewall concepts IT Jobs in US for (US & Canadian passport holders only).
