Reporting to General Manager (French), based in shanghai The position is based in a downtown location in Shanghai with regular trip within mainland China and occasionally in APAC and Europe. •This is a company operating in the pharmaceutical industry and this locally on the entire value chain (development, formulation, production, sales). KEY MISSIONS • Business Development responsibilities Choose, approach and present to pharmaceuticals companies technologies and business activities in France and China Looking for opportunity of new cooperation with clients in particular of Co-Development, New Drug Transfer, Import, Licensing and Manufacture. Follow up and use all sources of company to consolidate the pending projects. Negotiate, propose, redact and conclude commercial contracts with objective of cash income and long term supply either pellets or finished products. Make and achieve affiliate cash and revenue target through Co-Development, New Drug Transfer or Licensing. Follow and provide service to customers to maintain relationship and look for new opportunities to cooperate. In conjunction with the Commercial Portfolio Group (mainly in addition and pain management products), plan and implement tactics to achieve set targets. • Strategy and Marketing missions (in collaboration with MKT Director): Work closely with the VP Business Development, the GM and MKT Director to help drive the company forward through its next phase of growth Key player status in the senior leadership team of the affiliate, participation in company strategy definition and ensuring its application across the BD and commercial function. Acting as the company commercial expert and customer interface for all high level sales issues, providing commercial strategy and direction to all internal and external stakeholders Provision of strategic commercial direction to all functions to promote and support business development and growth, and new product launches Prepare and implement a English/Chinese development plan for all associated products Deliver monthly reports, and quarterly prospection plan updates • Relationship Management Active participation, communication and collaboration with Marketing and Project Director Creative, Team player, problem settled and work under pressure Build lasting relationships with clients and prospects Maintain good working relationships with colleagues, senior and junior colleagues across the business unit. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE – SKILLS AND ABILITIES Chinese national or returnee preferred (M/F) with mandatory international exposure (studying, living or working) Fluent and professional English and Mandarin (writing and speaking) – French is a big plus Master Degree Minimum, MBA preferred (ideally with medical or pharmacy with sales-marketing exposure) Natural commercially oriented and experienced in business development in pharmaceutical industry in China 7 to 10 Years minimum in pharmaceuticals with at least 2 to 3 in licensing in / out Existing network and relationship in pharmaceutical industry Experience in manufacturing and distribution environment in organization of +/- 200 staffs Knowledge of China pharmaceuticals market, rules and regulations on drug development and import Familiar with and comfortable formulating business model and revenues structures Contact: yolinda@acropolis.cn yolindashen@gmail.com" |
