Strong hands on experience and skills in all publishing/typesetting software like InDesign/Quark/Photoshop both Windows/Mac environment. Sound knowledge of image editing/touch up task on all latest software. Must have hands on experience in typesetting/composition. Good knowledge of different client’s specification. Should have good technical knowledge of prepress and printing. Qualification: Graduate/Post-Graduate Job Description & Key Responsibilities: • Understand end to end pre-press publishing process. • Undertake process analysis, identifying process improvement initiatives and work as a team member towards timely implementation. • Able to analyze the raw contents and map it to the lay-outing software. • Analysis of client requirement and knowledge transition. • Responsible for all deliverables on time and meeting client requirements. • Should be able to handle work independently. Skills: Tech skills: • Proficient in content publishing platforms and technologies. • Good working knowledge of Adobe InDesign CS2/CS3/CS4, Quark Express on Windows /Mac platform and related typesetting software. • Sound Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. • Experience in managing all pre-press project activities. • Good Computer skills. • Proficient in using Microsoft office. Soft skills: • Good analytical and problem solving skills. • Good data/content analysis skills. • Good interpersonal skills. • Good verbal and written communication skills • Ability to learn quickly Additional Requirements: • Willing to work in night shifts • Experience in catalogue/magazine publishing.
