Previous controller experience must include: monthly close process, P&L consolidation and reporting of variance analysis, commentary, software capitalization process, expense management and metrics.   Some familiarity with Insurance products and services is a plus. Strong finance/accounting background including experience with company financial close, accounting methodologies, unit cost and metrics. Firm understanding of Operations & Technology, Maintenance, and Capital costs exposure to application Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), Benchmarking and Unit Cost metrics. Strong Microsoft skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with financial systems/applications such as Clarity, Cognos, Oracle, Es-base and SAP is a plus. Strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation (e.g. pivot tables, v-lookup and macros. Strong analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple activities, to work independently, to manage multiple work-streams, to produce high quality work products and to work with a strong sense of urgency. The ability to be a creative problem solver, anticipate problems and opportunities and deliver solutions. Proven ability to interact and communicate effectively with clients at all levels.
