Responsible for the creation of new detail drawings to specific standards and creation of the Product Structure BOM. Managing and reporting relevant project KPI’s and managing day to day strategic collaboration with external resource and customer. ((they will only consider candidates from the off highway industry)). ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Maintain effective communication with suppliers, internal and external customers, and outside resources concerning technical issues • Enforce the proper use of engineering criteria and drawing standards. Ensure that technical issues are conducted within the framework of company policies and procedures • Direct small Engineering team in the preparation of layouts, drawings, specifications, and bills of material • Process engineering information through change proposals, change notices and the creation of thorough piece part documentation • Respond to Continuous Improvement Requests • Establish day to day work priorities • Provide regular reporting and feedback to European Management team QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED • HND Mechanical or Computer Aided Engineering Essential. • BEng Desirable • 5+ years related work experience required. • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Experience with off-highway equipment preferred • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • PTC Pro-E CAD skills • Experience of Engineering Change Management process.
