"Job Role To perform and supervise structural analysis and to control layout, shop and reinforcement drawings for buildings and civil structures (reinforced/pre-stressed/post-tensioned concrete, masonry, steel, timber, infrastructure) Responsibilities The main responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following: - Structural engineering plans, design and layout - Structural engineering calculations and project specifications - Shop and reinforcement drawings for buildings and civil structures - Supervision of a team of structural design engineers and their works - Drawing up cost estimates for the civil engineering portion of projects Qualifications & Experience - Candidate must be authorised to work in Nigeria - Must hold a bachelor or higher degree in structural engineering or in a discipline related to it - Needs to prove 10 years of experience in structural design preferably in the O&G industry or is at least familiar with international industry standards - Is a self-starter with an aptitude to problem solving, can work independently and as a friendly - leader in a team and demonstrates excellent professional interpersonal and communication skills - Is fluent in oral and written English - Is preferably registered as ENGR with COREN - Proves experience with AutoCAD, Sophistik and other common software in structural design If INTERESTED, please submit your current resume with reference SSDE, to cv@bestsearchrecruitment.com"
