Suzan Sabry Amer posted a job: Service Development Analyst - Egypt "Location: Cairo Reports To: Service Development Manager Subordinates: None Position Basic Purpose and Job Description: The Service Development Analyst’s role is to assist in the development and on-going improvements of standardised operational procedures, systems, measurements and reports for use in all BU’s Service Depts. Primary Job Roles: Job Role – Task Task Specifics Service Operations Process and Systems Development 1. Work with Product Support CoE Service Development Manager and CoE Service Operation Support team to develop, improve and standardize operational procedures and reporting 2. Liaise with BU to follow-up on System and reporting improvement requests 3. Work with finance departments to define accounting requirements for Service Operations which affect Service Profitability (e.g. Sales, Cost of Sales, WIP, Direct Expenses, Allocated Expenses) 4. Liaise with CoE Operation Support Team setting up: a. Labor charges master files b. Miscellaneous charges master files c. Shops and Cost Centres d. Contracts (CSA, R&M and MARC) e. Customer file set-up for Service f. … 5. Liaise with CoE Service Operation Support Team in developing tools/systems for auditing different service & admin operations to make sure BUs are using MANTRAC group standard process and procedures 6. Liaise with CoE Service Operations Support Team conducting Business Systems Training for various BUs Service Department service users Manuals & Procedures Documentation 1. Liaise with Service Operation Support Team in developing and updating users guides after each release or version for various MANTRAC business & operation systems such as: a. ManPRO – Service Modules of Mantrac ERP b. ManVMS – Vehicle Management System c. ManDW – Data Ware Hours reporting tool d. ManCSA – Contract Management System e. … 2. Liaise with Caterpillar and internal contacts to ensure Best Practices for Service Admin process and procedures are defined, documented, updated and implemented where applicable 3. Liaise with CoE Service Operations Support Team making sure updated manuals are distributed and a record of their distribution is maintained Service Operational systems requirements updates 1. Identify and evaluate Business Systems processes and propose ‘Best Practice’ solutions 2. Review Service Operational systems requirements with all BU’s on a regular basis 3. Based on requirements, identify and prioritise development projects related to a. Mantrac ERP System; ManPRO b. Mantrac different Service Systems/Tools c. Service Accounting d. Service Administration 4. Document requirements for discussion and actions with other Departments (e.g. IT Department, Finance or Accounts) 5. Maintain Projects Scheduling & Planning tasks 6. Perform Business System tests after each and every development and approve promote the solution to production 7. Keep records & track all developed issues with their status Service Operations Analysis and Reporting 1. Review Service Department Reports requirements with all BU’s on a regular basis 2. Based on requirements, identify and prioritise development projects related to a. (Service) Business Intelligence Reports b. Service Management Reports c. Service KPI Reports d.
