"Hiring a Plant Manager in Woodstock, ON Canada Our client, a Leading Tier One Automotive manufacturer of precision components is looking for a Plant Manager. The facility is located Woodstock, ON Canada. He/she should have experience managing a precision machining facility. The Plant Manager will: Manage Materials, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Production Control, Safety and Maintenance. Be responsible for the P&L of the plant and its performance Interact directly with customers and suppliers Manage site including strategic planning, resource allocation, production methods, etc. Implement TS, ISO or other quality standards Oversee groups of 200+ employees in a union shop Requirements: Bachelor's Degree preferably in engineering; advanced degree such as an MBA preferred Tier one automotive experience Ten years of manufacturing experience across a variety of manufacturing functions, including 5 years of management-level positions Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance Knowledge of metal products manufacturing preferred Previous experience implementing and working in a lean manufacturing environment Prior experience in facility adding additional lines This is an excellent opportunity that offers a salary of $140K+, full benefits package and relocation for the right candidate.
