Responsibilities: • Write test plans/cases to ensure that requirements have been successfully satisfied. • Execute test plans in an organized, systematic way. • Thoroughly document defects and enter them into a defect tracking system. • Track defects through to resolution. • Gather test data from appropriate sources within the client’s business. • Write testing strategy documents to compliment business requirements. • Work with Project Manager staff to align timeline/resources Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • MUST have solid experience in interpreting, developing and executing test cases and test plan. • Experience in interpreting wireframes, design comps and functional requirements. • Proficiency in technologies used to build enterprise web applications such as SQL, Java, J2EE, PHP, .NET, Spring, Struts, HTML, JavaScript, and/or CSS. • Experience and knowledge of all major web browsers and their inherent differences/limitations. • In depth knowledge of QA processes as it relates to software development. • Experience with standard Development and QA tools is desired. (Jira, Quality Center, Firebug, Fiddler, etc…).
