"Hiring an ETL Designer/Developer in Omaha, NE ETL Designer/Developer   The Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) Designer/Developer works closely with the ETL Architect and BI/DW staff and the support staff of enterprise applications to create specific designs for the linking or movement of data between various enterprise applications and the DW environment.   The ETL Designer/Developer should be very familiar with the capabilities of relevant ETL tools, be they specialized tools (e.g. Informatica, DataStage) or generic database functionality (e.g. MS SQL Server Integration Services) and also the techniques for dealing with data warehouse structures, such as fact tables and the various types of slowly changing dimensions.   The ETL Designer/Developer will perform or work with: ●Business Analyst(s) to understand informational requirements ●Data Administrator and Data Stewards to understand information quality definitions and expectations of end users ●Data Modeler and Database Designer in the design of target environment data structures ●Business System and Data Analyst to understand source system data and structures ●Detail design of source to target data mappings ●Review proposed mappings with relevant personnel, e.g. Business Analyst, Data Stewards, Business System and Data Analyst ●Generate detailed design documentation for the source-to-target transformations ●Create test scenarios and be responsible for their execution ●Support the efforts of the Data Staging Developer(s) Work with enterprise application integration personnel to anticipate and resolve data integration issues across applications and technical infrastructures The role of the Data Staging (ETL) Developer is to create the applications designed by the Data Staging (ETL) Designer.   Other Details: ●A Bachelor's degree in any discipline required. ●Work Location: Omaha, NE ●Position: Full-time ●Eligibility: Authorized to work in US (Sogeti USA doesn't sponsor any work related visas at this time)   Apply online Join Our Talent Network   More about Sogeti: If you are looking to join a company with a proven record of success and limitless growth opportunities, start with Sogeti USA.
