Job Description: Job Description:Candidate will be responsible for version control, build creation, release management and sanity testing for a high priority Android based project. Candidate will also be responsible for working with the broader team to resolve open source legal scan issues.Responsibilities:Create Android builds, flash devices, run basic sanity test & regression test Design/optimize the project release process. Create Android build scripts to automate the process Work with Linux Open Source Team make sure the software release complies with requirements Work with Build & Integration team and target team, follow the Android release process, release changes into repositories. Work with developers to solve merge conflicts Work with the leads to plan for the release to achieve the product scheduleSkills/Experience:Expert on GIT, P4 Good understanding of SW release process Familiar with GNU make Familiar with Android platform build environment Familiar with Linux SW development environment, Linux shell script, perl or python Familiar with C/C++, expected to work with developers to solve merge conflicts. Experience with Qualcomm CRM release, Android release process and open source scan process will be a plusEducation:Required: Bachelors, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience Preferred: Masters, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience"
