Job Description: Production Machine Operator responsible for operating Glass Forming and Automated Packaging Equipment. Primary duties include monitoring product quality and machine performance while making necessary adjustments to maintain production efficiency. The Production Machine Operator will identify faults displayed on the operator interface computer and quickly address minor jams and machine stops. Other duties include Tooling changes, Preventative Maintenance, machine & equipment repairs, machine changeovers and startups. Associate must be able to apply Lockout/Tagout policy and apply safe work practices around complex equipment. Candidates must be able to multi-task and operate equipment in a fast paced environment while applying good troubleshooting skills to resolve process issues. We are a 24 / 7 day operation. The position opening is for 2 nd or 3 rd shift but you must be available to work any shift. Starting pay is over $23.00 with shift differential. Qualifications 1 to 2 years prior experience as a machine operator in a high speed manufacturing environment. Must possess basic understanding of Lockout/Tagout, operator interface computer screens, Quality Control Systems, conveyors, motors & drives, machine sensors, air actuated valves & assemblies. Prior experience in welding, metal fabrication, machine controls, PLC's, Vision Systems or Robotics a plus. These candidates will be given greater consideration. "
