Main job assignments include; • Planning, designing and implementing an overall risk management strategy for 1LINK to cater Operational Risk, IS Risk & Fraud Risk etc. • Provide proposals & recommendations to the CEO and the Executive Committee to develop and communicate risk management policies, risk appetite and risk limits. • Conduct periodically Risk Assessment of different departments of the organization, and recommend & implement the appropriate risk mitigation measures. • Develop and implement Internal Controls framework. • Design & implement effective Business Continuity Plan. • Provide an independent view regarding proposed business plans and transactions, ensuring the business lines optimize their returns operating within provided risk mitigating parameters. • Review policies, implement internal controls and ensure compliance to regulations & standards i.e. PCIDSS, Central Bank etc, including liaison with external auditors. • Implement Risk Analytics. • Develop and implement an Information Security strategy. • Represent the organization at different forums i.e. Pakistan Banks Association’s Risk Management Forum, Central Bank etc. • Lead team Risk Management team, ensuring their performance development, effective people strategy is in place. • Keep track of changes in Central Bank Regulations as well as international developments in the field of Risk Management and e-Banking and communicate the same to the concerned quarters in organization.
