It is a start up business of selling insurance products to the market so the role will require an experienced and hands on Commercial Finance Manager/ Controller with background knowledge about various insurance products. The business has continued to grow across Europe and now it operates in 12 different countries. The Commercial Finance Controller role is high profile and requires extensive interactions with Senior Management across Europe. This is therefore a very broad position coupling not only financial reporting with oversight of the forecasts, expense management but also involves a lot of strategic financial planning, analysis and investment appraisals for the region. The ideal candidate: * Qualified accountant (ACA qualified or equivalent) * Have a broad financial management and reporting experience gained with a large business (Big 4 or multinational companies) * Have a strong technical reporting experience and ability to communicate with the business both in the UK and internationally. * Experience of reviewing new business plans and pricing new Insurance products and opportunities. * Impactive and credible with senior stakeholders.
