Financial Account / Tax Manager in Toronto, ON Canada Our client,  one of the largest consumer product companies, is seeking a Financial Accountant / Tax Manager for their expanding operations.  Under the general direction of the Controller the Financial Accountant/Tax Manager will be fully responsible for timely completion of financial/ management reporting.  In addition responsibility will include related corporate accounting tasks. Duties: ·         Preparation of all financial/ management reporting promptly with a very high degree of accuracy. This will include coordinating with the operations accounting group and other finance personnel. Reporting would consist of a monthly report package, annual budget and the annual audit/ financial statement; all with various related outputs and variance analysis. ·         Produce forecast  financial statements ·         Review all financial information for reasonableness and accuracy. ·         All aspects of all taxes ? compliance, returns, payments, deferred tax; with appropriate Corporate and External consultant resources ·         Assist in ensuring the integrity of the financial records by upholding and confirming best practice and good internal controls. Resolving problems and prioritizing requirements promptly. Including GL reconciliations and overall GL reconciliation monitoring/ review. ·         Quickly develop a good understanding of the business/ financial dynamics. Gain a good understanding of other finance functions, the interrelationship to contribute to the overall effective and efficient Finance department functioning. Liaise with other departments of the Company, colleagues within the greater organization and interact with IT and external resource providers. ·         Payables department (2 staff) ·         Foreign Exchange ·         Other duties as assigned. Requirements: ·         Bachelor?s Degree & Professional Certification CGA/CA/CMA ·         Appropriate experience; o   Financial reporting/ forecasting/ budgeting o   2 years tax. ·         Detailed, precise work ethic. ·         Experience of ERP systems, preferable SAP http://bull.hn/l/10O9Z/5"
