"SUMMARY: The Vice President of Manufacturing provides strategic leadership and direction for all aspects of manufacturing within the organization and works closely with other department leaders to ensure the efficient management of company operations. This individual will be responsible for multiple manufacturing facilities globally. RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and execute manufacturing strategy, working closely with the President on manufacturing plans, goals, and future product innovations Review and evaluate cost effectiveness, consistency, quality, accuracy, safety, and performance to standards and take action to correct discrepancies Ensure that manufacturing capabilities meet or exceed all industry an customer requirements for cost, quality, and responsiveness Achieve operational excellence using lean/TPM methods, as well as support the on-going development and implementation of lean/TPM to improve upon standards and KPI Ensure highly quality, low cost, processes are used to plan, direct, and coordinate all manufacturing and facilities activities Ensure compliance with ISO-14001, TS 16949, environmental management standards, federal/state/local regulations, and company policies Perform administrative activities necessary for the effective management of the department: budget administration, employee safety, employee counseling and motivation, organizational goals and objectives, and other tasks as required Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field; MBA preferred Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated manufacturing leadership and management; 15 years of experience preferred Strong functional background in lean and/or TPS Strong business acumen, to include strategic planning skills and financial skills MANAGEMENT BUSINESS SOLUTIONS IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER"
