Our client provide a strong and dedicated focus on IT quality and is an active part of the ever-changing society, based on innovation and knowledge. They are urgent searching an Embedded C Developer - Contractor. Technical Skills: • Excellent knowledge of C programming language; • At least 2 years in development of Linux kernel drivers; • Excellent knowledge of GNU development tools and binutilites; • Excellent knowledge of Linux kernel debugging techniques; • Extensive knowledge of Android patches to vanilla kernel; • Excellent knowledge of Android structure and synergy with native Linux; • Excellent knowledge of build environment for Android; • Excellent knowledge of Repo, GIT, Gerrit and other tools used in Android source code management; • Excellent knowledge of English language, both in spoken and written is a must; • Team work and good communication skills with customers are mandatory. Tasks on which will be working: debugging and fixing of Linux kernel drivers on Android based platforms. The main focus is on system control drivers: power control, backlight. The HW platforms will be with ARM Cortex A8 and A9 CPU sub-systems. Place of work: Palo Alto, USA at customers offices. Project duration: 1.Jan.2013 till 30.Jun.2013. The candidate should have valid USA work permit. Hourly rate: 39 USD max. Resource monthly utilization: 100% Onsite Position open to contractors.
