"Data Analyst in Stratford, CT Data Analyst Job Description: Advanced skill proficiency with Excel (Pivot tables/forecasting/regression analysis etc), Access, SQL, Microsoft Office, Solumina and Hyperion data base analytical tools are required. Exhibit technical and operational proficiency in data analysis aspects of project management. Exercise judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Analyze and track budgeted, forecasted, and actual costs using data mining techniques to model and predict the business need. Develop weekly, monthly, annual metrics summary performance reports and forecasts as well as other data mining type analysis reports for Engineering and related customers (Operations/FMS/International Military Programs). Monitor and report program status, reporting program/center/supplier level activity compared to program loading Work with Engineering Management staff to establish and monitor performance metrics across functional disciplines. Provide ad-hoc reporting and project support as necessary. Serve an advisory role planning manpower and resource requirements based upon derived data from internal data bases inter-relating data trends, forecasting and advanced analysis to meet functional requirements.
