Job Summary: They believe in starting the testing even before a single line of code is written. SDET’s in this organization are responsible for achieving this by planning, designing & implementing Automation frameworks, tests & test scripts to engage early in software development process. Job Responsibilities / Some of the Key Requirements: Should be proficient in C#/ .net, web service/API testing via white box methods. Strong understanding & hands on experience with testing of SOAP, REST API’s using custom automation framework. Should possess excellent debugging skills in C# & Java. Excellent knowledge on unit test writing & corresponding tools. Sound knowledge about best practices in coding, scripting. Attitude to enforce them on developers to adhere to best practices. Passion for continuing education and improving code quality through interaction with development team.Perform code reviews and be able to suggest and influence design decisions Passion for finding bottlenecks and thresholds in existing code through the use of automation tools Should have broad minded thinking-should be able to look at system from bird eye view & at the code level as well. Must have knowledge about Continuous integration/Jenkins Strong experience in writing automation framework from scratch - also in contributing to existing frameworks. Good knowledge on database, replication & production setup. Should be able to write test automation considering production scenarios/environments. Good knowledge on WPF application, MVVM modeling. Software Developers (who does not have prior testing experience or having minimal testing experience) but passionate to take an SDET role are also encouraged to apply.
