The Human Resources Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent. Primary Responsibilities: • Develop and execute recruiting plans • Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and employees • Coordinate internal college recruiting initiatives • Lead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting • Research new ways of using the Internet for recruitment • Use social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates • Administer the new employee orientation program • Prepare separation documents and releases • Conduct exit interviews with departing employees • Other HR administrative duties and recordkeeping This position is an 8 month maternity leave contract, averaging 20 – 25 hours of work per week. QUALIFICATIONS • Experience with general recruiting and technical recruiting • Proven candidate sourcing and relationship building skills • General knowledge of various employment laws and practices • Solid understanding of human resources administration practices • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Proven proficiency is required in MS Office Applications, specifically Word and Excel. • Skills in database management and record keeping • Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to meet frequently occurring deadlines • Ability to travel for recruitment meetings, campus visits, and career fairs and maintain a flexible work schedule • Excellent organizational skills • Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner • Gather and analyze information skillfully The successful candidate will possess relevant education in business preferably with a focus on human resources. Ideally have a background in either marketing automation or campaign management: having an understanding of customer segmentation, list building, consumer privacy guidelines, email and direct mail deliverability, database marketing APIs, and list hygiene procedures.  This person will be working closely with the Email and Direct Mail Marketing team to understand their goals, target segments, campaign flows, offers, creative requirements and metric requirements.  Responsibilities:   Product Strategy (~20%) • Analyze enormous amounts of data from various sources to identify new product opportunities, and to measure the success of product initiatives. • Develop and champion a product vision, product strategy and product roadmap in support of corporate goals and objectives. Product Discovery and Definition (~70%) • Own the product discovery process • Collaborate with the business, user experience and engineering during discovery to assess value, usability and feasibility of product features • Specify, prioritize and communicate high level and detailed product specifications using written specifications and user stories, business rules, flows and use cases as well as UE generated deliverables such as prototypes, wireframes and design and copy docs Product Implementation, Deployment and Support (~10%) • Engage frequently with engineering and project management during implementation; be available to quickly answer questions that arise during implementation and to make scope tradeoff decisions. • Work closely with Marketing and/or the business to launch products and ensure their adoption. • Coordinate post-launch activities to validate that the product works as designed and that operational processes dependant on the feature successfully complete acceptance testing.   Required Skills:   CRM, Campaign Management, or Marketing Automation experience (Unica, Aprimo, E.Piphany, Siebel) Email delivery software (Strongmail, Responsys, Cheetahmail) Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and feature concepts Demonstrated success defining and launching valuable products Able to develop and effectively communicate a product vision, strategy and roadmap Proven experience in agile development methodologies.
