POSITION SUMMARY: Senior development resource responsible for design and development of new applications or enhancements to current applications. Responsibilities also include performing as technical lead for projects of moderate to high complexity that impact multiple departments, systems, or work flows. In addition, function as mentor to those on the team who need assistance in growing their skills. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Perform technical design and lead technical design teams for new applications or enhancements to current applications • Perform development of new applications or enhancements to current applications • Lead technical teams through development efforts, including assigning tasks, monitoring development efforts, and performing code reviews • Provide ongoing support and maintenance of existing applications • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned • Regular attendance and punctuality required SUPERVISION RECEIVED/EXERCISED: Perform duties under general direction of the Senior Manager of Software Development. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED: Education and/or Experience • B.S. in MIS, Computer Science or related field desired. Microsoft Certified Professional certification preferred • Minimum of 10 years in a development role • Minimum of 5 years using object-oriented analysis and design principles • Minimum of 5 years using Microsoft’s .NET development platform, C# language • Minimum of 5 years using Microsoft’s Visual Basic (Classic) • Minimum of 5 years using Microsoft’s SQL Server database tools • Minimum of 2 years using Microsoft’s WCF service development platform • Minimum of 2 years performing application integration • Minimum of 2 years in team leadership roles • Proficiency with Microsoft’s Office suite of products"
