We are looking for an experienced professional for the position of IT Director based in Bahrain. JOB OVERVIEW Monitors and manages the computers and software, networks, applied programs and their analyses, under which fall the development, installation, modification and maintenance of all programs and computers. He will prepare the feasibility studies and evaluate the future work requirements in terms of hardware and software needed by the company and also verifies and proven quality and specifications of the developed programs and provides accurate orders for the computer programmers and operators. He also manages the planning and development of the information system and key files which explores new developments in information systems and computer technology and works as the first management media with suppliers and companies and gives internal analysis and assistance to this administration and manages the business of network security LAN and WAN owned by the company. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Manages the installation and maintenance of the company's technical networks and link with all required points, whether internal or external. • Manages all information technology-related work for the operation and maintenance of the main frame computer or the server and their related devices. • Coordinate with the other departments in regard with their requirements. • Ensures proper optimal performance and quality of the information bank. • Installs fixes and maintains the mother network and the devices connected to it through contracted agencies or through the company’s staff. • The ability to handle and work on various types of hardware and software. • Establish technical priorities and specifications and approach to work. • Make sure that all the company’s needs for the system technology required to perform the work are provided. • Establish rules and regulations applied for the uses of the company’s internal and external network at the company level. KEY SKILLS • High capacity in the management of technical projects • High skills in technology project planning for the existing or new projects • High capacity in the preparation of upgrading proposals for company’s networks and systems • Ability to update the work procedures and develop the strategic plans which match with the company’s aspirations • The ability to build a professional team and exercise team upgrade continuously • The ability to follow-up and implementation • Ability to manage self and time • Ability to develop work and organization • High negotiation skills • Accuracy in work • Creativity in thinking • Ability to solve problems and take decisions ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Computer Science, preferably a Master's Degree in the same discipline • At least 4 - 6 years experience in a senior IT Management position • Fluent Arabic & English communications • Good knowledge of strategic planning COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS • Salary to be used as a guide only and will reflect experience levels and interview performance • As a guideline between 1.5k-2k BHD per month / $50k - 65k USD per annum To apply in confidence please email your CV in English to lydia@frgr.org FIRST RESORT GLOBAL RECRUITMENT Leaders in Executive Level Recruitment Worldwide www.firstresortrecruitment.com" | |||||
