View company name and apply directly at: http://bit.ly/oLmdhu Job Description • Research, analyze, and evaluate private equity fund managers and secondary opportunities • Build dynamic financial models to analyze fund and secondary opportunities • Perform due diligence on private equity fund managers and secondary opportunities (including past investment performance, quality of investment teams and investment strategy, investment merits and risks, and expected returns), and on companies within fund portfolios to evaluate performance, valuation, and exit opportunities • Assist with Funds & Secondaries strategy projects on such topics as portfolio construction, private equity market reviews, and emerging market/investment opportunities • Compile and analyze track record information for managers Responsibilities: • Assist in the maintenance of a private equity fundraising forward calendar • Meet with fund management to review portfolio companies, fund performance, strategy, outlook, market developments, and other applicable topics • Perform valuation analysis of underlying companies to determine pricing of funds in the secondary market • Conduct reference calls with portfolio company management, limited partners and other industry participants • Perform benchmarking analysis on fund and secondary investments • Attend and participate in Funds & Secondaries investment recommendation meetings • Assist in presenting investment recommendations to the PI Investment Committee, and the Investment Department Decision Committee. Execute Fund Commitments and Secondaries: • Assist with the overall execution of fund commitments and secondary investments • Liaise with investment partners (general partners and limited partners) and advisors (legal, financial, etc.) • Assist in the marketing activities of fund’s Private Investment strategy and capabilities (i.e. co-investments/co-sponsorships, private debt, and secondaries) to industry participants. Monitor Investments: • Coordinate with the Investment Finance groups with respect to monitoring investments and verifying accuracy of cash inflows/outflows • Monitor ongoing financial performance of funds, portfolio companies and, secondaries investments • Assist in performing quarterly monitoring reviews of funds and secondary investments • Attend fund annual meetings as required" |
