Position applies process improvement and re-engineering methodologies to ensure workflow standardization and modernization at sixteen DBHDS facilities to support implementation of an Electronic Health Records System (EHRS). This position applies process improvement and re-engineering methodologies and principles to conduct process modernization and standardization projects at all facilities of the Commonwealth of Virginia's DBHDS facilities to support implementation of an Electronic Health Records System (EHRS) as well as working with legacy and other new complex systems. Additional duties may include activity and data modeling, developing modern business methods, identifying best practices, and creating and assessing performance measurements as well as process standardizations throughout the DBHDS network. Providing group facilitation, interviewing, training, and provides additional forms of knowledge transfer. Serves as a key coordinator between multiple project teams to ensure enterprise-wide integration of re- engineering efforts. Additional Responsibilities: Design process workflows, collect and analyze statistics/metrics for DBHDS, identify gaps in all associated processes and risks. Considerable ability in documenting and presenting results of analysis, including the ability to write reports, develop processes and gain consensus among various groups.
