We're looking for someone who wants the challenge of working on developing actionable and highly effective analytics solution to solve real business problems.
• Play key role in design, development and deployment of Analytical Applications in a hosted environment.
• Experience customer requirements first hand and design solutions which go beyond traditional BI solutions.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization, process redesign, or development of new Analytics.
• Exercise independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
• Work closely with product managers, engineering teams, quality assurance, and other teams to deliver the Analytic product.
• Work in a high paced and rewarding environment with bleeding edge technologies and innovative concept
Required Skills / Experience:
• Bachelors Degree, with 7+ years related information systems experience and 5+ years in Data warehousing/ Business Intelligence
• Expertise with data warehousing concepts, terminology, and architecture.
• Experience with various business intelligence technologies (applications, databases, ETL, reporting, etc.).
• Experience with OLAP
• Experience in designing DB Schema and performance tuning of ETL / DB etc.
• Expert understanding of data analysis, data modeling, and ETL tools. Detailed knowledge of capabilities of multiple reporting tools (e.g. COGNOS, Business Objects, etc.).
• Proficiency in physical/logical database design, performance tuning and monitoring.
• Excellent SQL skills and in-depth understanding of database technologies.
• Should be able to translate user requirements into functional or product requirements and be able to document those.
• Training is critical part of Implementation process; candidate should have had experience preparing training material as well as delivering effective training to the end users.
• Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks.
• Excellent team player, able to work with virtual and global cross functional teams
