Skills and Certifications (bold if required) Account Management Sales in Semiconductor space Sales of Patent Licenses Sales in Japan/Asia The Compensation Base Salary - $180,000 - $200,000 Target Add'l Comp - $45,000 - $50,000 Benefits - Full Commission Compensation - Yes Bonus Eligible - Yes Overtime Eligible - No Relocation Assistance Available - Yes Interview Travel Reimbursed - Yes Account executives are responsible for - closing patent licensing transactions, - building and growing relationships with licensees' intellectual property teams technical teams, - managing on-going engagements with licensees, and - sourcing new licenses with candidates identified by other members of the team. One of the most challenging aspects of the account executive position is maintaining a positive, professional working relationship with licensees while litigation is ongoing in support of new revenue generating contracts. Account executives should expect to travel more than sixty percent of the time. We would prefer that account executives are based in San Jose, but working remotely will be acceptable. A passionate self starter able to communicate with effective clarity is a must. Pace will be fast and challenging. Individual will need the ability to manage priorities while remaining agile, focused and balanced. This position requires knowledge of large account management and sales experience interacting with customer technical engineers, procurement specialists, and management teams. Account executives are expected to have vice president level people skills, negotiating abilities and technical skills (though an engineering background is not required). Account executives will be supported by our marketing team and legal team. Account executives will be eligible to participate in a deal based incentive arrangement in addition to standard base compensation, cash incentive plan and equity linked compensation arrangements. Qualifications & Desired Values and Skills: 5-10 years technical sales experience Bachelors or Masters degree Presence and demeanor to interact with C-Suite of Fortune 100 companies Excellent phone and communication skills Proven sales track record Mastery of complex negotiation points Optimistic, winning drive Perseverance Ability to organize a matrixed team, including legal and finance Technically savvy, a fast learner, and independent Excellent business sense or knowledge"
