REQUIRED -- Knowledge of the mail Presort business, mail qualifications, and USPS standard requirements. ROLE: -- Direct and coordinate computer operations and staff. -- Review daily logs and reports to detect slowdowns or errors. -- Consult with mail sort vendors (USPS, NPI, etc.) to resolve data processing problems. -- Participate in daily production meetings with management to determine quality of services and identify needs. -- Evaluate and analyze data to create sort schemes for mail sorting. -- Manage production inventory and reorder as needed. -- Evaluate software and hardware to determine usefulness and compatibility with existing systems. -- Supervise two Computer staff members. -- Responsible for interviewing, hiring and training employees for the data department. -- Plan, assign and direct work, appraise performance, reward and discipline employees, address complaints, and resolve problems.
