"Our client is seeking a Systems Analyst who will primarily design and develop databases and software applications that support business units. This position will work with a small cohesive project team through all phases of the SDLC to deliver system functionality. This position is responsible for database design, query writing, batch SQL processes writing, and all other aspects of database interaction. The position is responsible for maintaining applications using the Microsoft suite of programming languages, primarily Visual Basic and Active Server Pages, but also Java Script, .NET, and other new technologies as necessary. The position will be located in Charlottesville, VA and will report to the IT Project Manager. Skills: .NET, SQL Server, VB6, SharePoint, Biztalk, Siebel, ASP Classic, WPF, Silverlight, Entity Framework, HTML, MCP, MCSD Musts: * 3 years C#/.NET Web and Windows application design and development experience * Experience developing applications with SQL Server 2000, SQL Server 2005, or SQL Server 2008 [SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)] * Unit testing frameworks * TFS * Experience with agile/scrum methodologies * Bachelor degree in information technology, computer science, or related field Plusses: * SharePoint web development, BizTalk administration and configuration, and Siebel CRM development and configuration * VB6, Classic ASP, JavaScript, XML/XSLT * WPF, Silverlight, Entity Framework * Thorough HTML knowledge * Microsoft MCSD certification * Microsoft MCP certification If you are interested in this position, please forward your resume to Liz Marshall at RecruitEM@PrecisionSystems.com."
