"Top-tier financial services firm seeks a Compliance Officer to lead Compliance activities associated with Risk Management and Pricing activities of the U.S. Credit Card franchise. Incumbent will be required to identify and assess key regulatory risks and develop Compliance risk management plans, policies and guidelines for the assigned businesses including periodic reviews and ongoing monitoring and testing.  Individual will also provide SME level advice to business and related functions on area of expertise with TILA, ECOA, and FCRA.  A strong working knowledge of credit acquisition, underwriting and pricing models is strongly desired. Other responsibilities include: Ability to provide prompt and meaningful guidance to business leaders with respect to issues involving credit acquisitions, underwriting and pricing strategies. The individual will regularly respond to compliance and operational questions from business and also interact with operations, control, legal and other functions on a regular basis and provide detailed guidance with respect to firm policies and regulatory issues. Successful individual will also need to efficiently identify significant issues and work with the different stake holders to develop action plans for resolution and report to functional and business management as appropriate. The individual will also make presentations to senior management as required and interact with regulators as needed. Qualifications: 7+ Years experience in consumer Compliance. Jurist Doctor (J.D.) and Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) strongly desired. Extensive knowledge of cards, retail banking and lending regulation. Strong working knowledge of Truth in Lending (Regulation Z), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (Regulation B), Privacy (Regulation P) and Fair Credit Reporting Act. General knowledge of the retail consumer business. Excellent communication skills and ability to lead by influence.  Proven ability to understand legal and regulatory concepts and convert them into relevant, practical business requirements. Strong ability to build relationships and establish trust and credibility with business management and regulators. General knowledge of emerging regulatory rules, and credit card issues required.   Must be organized and able to work independently.  Technical skills required:  Ability to understand and navigate proprietary systems and applications used for monitoring and reporting.
