Besides that it has one of the coolest offices of Europe: http://whatiserp.net/just-for-fun/10-cool-office-in-the-world/ Description Hyves is looking for a frontend developer to work on a website for a new e-commerce brand. What do we mean by frontend developer? The frontend developer is the missing link between a visual design and interaction design, and working HTML/CSS/Javascript. The frontend developer adds the magic of an interactive website to the static visual design. Skillsets At least 3 years of professional experience in CSS, HTML and Javascript. The designer should know about the intricacies of CSS layouting and widgets. The designer should be able to take a photoshop mockup and turn it into a working frontend layer. Experience in Scrum/Agile development Deliverables A complete working frontend for both the desktop browser as well as the mobile browser, including: 1. Skeleton 2. Controller for a single page interface 3. Various widgets for data input (forms), navigation, tables, notifications, dialog boxes, selections, etc. 4. CSS- and Javascript frameworks, including the plumbing to “make” and “deploy” to various target clients For each of these items we expect a complete set of low-level deliverables: including ● HTML ● CSS ● images ● javascript for the desktop website and the mobile website. Duration The frontend part of the project lasts for approximately 4 months and starts in oktober. Moving to the Netherlands? This means the working language at Hyves is English.
