The successful candidate will focus on learning the existing systems, and will participate to extend it as the business grows. The successful candidate must have solid understanding of software testing, particularly web application software across multiple browser platforms. Description: The Associate QA Engineer is an integral part of our engineering team, helping the development of our innovative software products. The successful candidate will focus on learning the existing systems, and will participate to extend it as the business grows. The successful candidate must have solid understanding of software testing, particularly web application software across multiple browser platforms. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: • Create and implement test plans. • Created Test Scenarios/Test Cases, Test Data and execute functional and non-functional testing • Run and analyze automation test cases. • Test Web based applications on across multiple browser platforms. • Assist development and support teams in resolving customer issues. Requirements: • BS in Computer Science or related field. • 1+ years of experience in Software Testing. • Understanding of programming languages and SQL. • Understanding of web technologies: HTML, XML and JavaScript. • Understanding of software development lifecycle, software testing, test automation, test design, and test planning. Preferred candidate will have: • Web applications testing experience. • Experience with Automated and Unit tests for both Java and DB (JUnit, DBUnit). • Understanding of Healthcare Payer claims data, HIPAA standard transaction and code set standards, and industry code; • Experience in ICD10 a strong plus.
