General Comments Client is the dominant player in their market, and is held by a $20Bn dollar international aerospace company. Client is experiencing a growth mode with diversified products and technology improvements. Position Summary  The Vice President of Customer Support Services reporting to the CEO is responsible for managing and supervising technical support and customer service departments as well as all internal IT infrastructures.  This includes inside and external client field support team, responsible for all equipment and software installation, repair and scheduling.  The incumbent will also have full P/L responsibility with a mandate toward continuous improvement in all areas of operations and personnel. Manage 2 direct reports and a team of 15. Responsibilities • Coordinating and working closely with the VP’s of Manufacturing, Sales and R&D, ensure that the company delivers world-class customer service in a demanding environment, both with internal and external clients. • Must be a new set of “eyes” to review and evaluate current structure of all departments under management, and provide a clear blueprint to restructure towards a solid foundation for growth. • Manage the teams to Excellence with good metrics and solid management oversight. • Determine metrics appropriate to business, then use these metrics to measure performance and drive improvement. • Ensure that procedures are followed, required data is collected and documented, and response to customers is timely. • Conduct data analysis of Customer Support databases and communicate findings to management team. • Drive continuous improvement of business through Kaizen Events and other relevant techniques. • Professionally manage all aspects of production issues, such as facilitating meetings escalation, notification and resolution of problems. • Communicate technical information in a common language understood by a diverse group comprised of technical and business stakeholders. • Ability to create and maintain productive business relationships for field support with third (3rd) parties as appropriate. • Technical experience conducting comprehensive root cause and defining corrective tasks for the elimination of problems. • Implement Call Center(s) policies and procedures. • Track entry of all activity in CRM (sugar) and weekly relay reporting results to management team with appropriate suggestions • Develop and manage budgeting and budget execution, with a focus on profitability. • Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours support and must be available to work weekends as required. Requirements • BS in an Engineering related discipline or Computer Science together with results-oriented management/leadership in comprehensive diverse organizations(large and small) within an entrepreneurial environment with solid working knowledge of strategic planning, business development, sales and budgeting in a fast growth industry ."
