"Our client is a top-tier quant-oriented Hedge Fund. The firm seeks an experienced trading compliance professional to join their team. In this role, you will work alongside the company’s chief compliance officer in designing and developing effective compliance procedures and controls in support of new and expanding trading activities. You will also participate in drafting, reviewing, and refining the documents that govern company policy and practice. The position will also entail daily oversight of trading matters. Successful candidates will have 5-10 years of experience in compliance at an investment bank focusing on trading floor compliance matters, at an institutional investment advisor, or regulator. The candidate should bring experience dealing with audits and other requests from U.S. and foreign regulatory bodies, particularly the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, and the U.S securities and futures exchanges. Candidates should also have a strong academic record with, at minimum, a bachelor’s degree. Additional requirements include: excellent verbal and written communications skills; a working understanding of systems used by investment advisors; strong management and supervisory skills; and a proactive business-minded approach to the role.
