To their team in Switzerland we looking to hire a Business Analyst / Consultant - Securities Operations To the Client’s consulting team we are looking for a Business Analyst / Consultant. The individual would work directly with Senior IT Managers on the client site, bringing industry best advice and detailed understanding of the pertinent issues in European financial services landscape. They will work closely with their delivery team’s onsite and offsite in different locations in multiple projects. Tasks • Understand the existing set up and offer thought leadership in the engagement based on experience and understanding of European financial services market space • Engage in different phases for the project from conceptualization, design, to realization and acceptance • Responsible to improving business-IT alignment, implementing / improving Straight Through Processing (STP), Business Process Re-engineering and alignment, channel solutions, launching new product and services, etc. • Supporting RFPs and Business Development activities in the area of CBC • Analyze and design the business requirements Requirements • Experience for 5 - 7 years as business analyst/consultant in information-technology service for system integrating companies servicing Banking and Financial services organizations in European Geographies • Exposure to Industry standard practices and methodologies like RUP, UML, etc. • Good understanding of business processes and data requirements in securities operations areas – settlement and clearing, custody and asset servicing • Awareness of standard software (commercially available products) in the securities operations area • Experience in working and / or providing IT solutions for Securities services providers like Central Securities Depositories, Custodian Banks, or back office operations of broker dealers / investment managers / Private / Universal Banks • Prior experience in onsite-offshore models of global service delivery will be highly beneficial • Strong analytical, conceptual and client facing skills • Previous exposure to a similar situations in securities operations area, having led or part of teams that build target state operating model, business process re-engineering, IT blue print, roadmap, etc. will be a distinct advantage • Fluent in English and proficiency in German • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Sciences or equivalent Additional information: • Place of work: Switzerland Should you be interested please send your CV to eu@chronosconsulting.com or submit application on-line: www.chronosconsulting.com."
