Title : Oracle Apps DBA Technical Architect Location : London Type : Permanent. Job Description: * Experience working as an Oracle Apps DBA Architect. * Installed Oracle applications 9i IAS, 10g IAS, 11i (11.5.10) /Rel12 and Oracle databases 11g/10g R2/9i (RAC and non RAC). * Identify and implement/participate in the implementation of hardware, operating system and software enhancements for improving the reliability, performance and availability of the systems. * Implement application architecture solutions, considering cost, reliability, performance and long-term strategy. * Manage systems for high availability, and satisfactory response time. * Be available on an on-call basis for recovery problems and system and application problems. * Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning; including assisting with fault tolerance and contributing to the design of disaster recovery plans. * Problem solving ability, excellent communication, ability to drive projects independently, handle customer calls. * Must have worked on RAC, RMAN, Portal, SSO, Concurrent managers, Sysadmin Tasks, etc. Looking ahead to hear from you.
